New Year's Eve New Moon Ceremony
Wed 29th Jan. Details TBC

Deep Stretch; Breathwork; Meditation; Sankalpa (Goals/ Resolutions) Setting

Information about our January New Moon Ceremony will be available from 13th Jan 2029

Join us on Wednesday 29th Jan, time tbc, for a transformative New Moon Ceremony at our studio. All information about the Moon will be provided shortly.

As we bid farewell to 2024, this ceremony offers a sacred space to release the past and embrace the future with clarity and purpose. The Capricorn energy of this New Moon encourages us to lay solid foundations for our goals, making it an ideal time for manifestation and setting New Year’s resolutions.

Program Highlights:

  • Deep Stretches: Alleviate tension throughout your entire body, preparing you for renewal.

  • Breathwork and Meditation: Gain clarity and enhance visualization to align with your aspirations.

  • Sankalpa Setting: Define your goals and New Year’s resolutions, harnessing the potent energy of the Black Moon. Please bring Journal or Paper and Pen (we have if you forget).

  • Refreshments: Conclude with nourishing chai and light snacks.

Please bring your journal and a pen to engage fully in our inspirational Goal Manifestation process. While the structured program concludes at 10:00 AM, we welcome you to stay up until 11:00 AM to continue writing, enjoy additional chai, or connect with fellow participants.

Whether you’re a seasoned participant in New Moon ceremonies, or maybe seeking to leave 2024 behind and move into 2025 with positivity, this event is designed to support your journey.

Spaces are limited to maintain an intimate and focused environment. Reserve your spot today and step into the New Year with resolve and joy.

Note: The New Moon’s exact occurrence is at 9:26 AM on December 31st, aligning perfectly with our ceremony to maximize its transformative potential.

After an active warmup, we’ll guide you through 10+ carefully selected asanas designed to alleviate tension, release strain, and enhance freedom of movement in your body.

Our session includes a focus on partner and trio adjustments, showing you how to work together safely and effectively, tailoring each adjustment to individual needs. With nearly an hour dedicated to these poses, there’s ample time to support advanced yogis in deepening their practice while also offering relief to those recovering from injuries or managing physical trauma.

Prefer to practice solo? That’s perfectly fine! You’re welcome to explore the poses at your own pace, or if desired, our experienced teacher, Amanda, can provide individualized adjustments to support your journey.

We will guide you through a few rounds of breathwork and a short guided meditation to facilitate the inward journey.

We’ll show you a method to visualise your goals, and how to break that big, distant picture into easy to approach steps.

Following the stretch class, we will provide a little morning tea and move into the meditation and goal setting.

About Amanda Fuzes

Amanda, the heart and soul behind Flying Yogis, has built her reputable business by turning inward—working through tension in her body, which she believes reflects tension in the mind. Through meditation, goal-setting, and visualization, she’s brought her most unique and transformative ideas to life.

Amanda’s yoga journey began in Kerala, India, in 1997, where she earned her first yoga qualifications at the Sivananda Ashram. Starting with the precision of Iyengar and flowing into the dynamic practice of Ashtanga, she mastered alignment, adjustments, and the power of the mind to overcome fear and stress.

In 2013, Amanda deepened her practice with a 500-hour training under the venerable Sri Dharma Mitra. During this time, she discovered the art of New Moon Ceremonies, sankalpa (intention) setting, and goal visualization. It was under Dharma’s guidance that her true calling—to teach yoga and mindfulness to children—truly took flight.

Although Amanda had been teaching children’s yoga since 2000, her Dharma training in 2013 inspired the creation of Flying Yogis in 2014. Today, Flying Yogis thrives with studios in Bondi Junction and Annandale, offering children and families a unique blend of yoga, mindfulness, and creativity.

Amanda warmly invites the community to join her at the Bondi Junction Studio this Tuesday. Take a moment to pause, reflect, and renew before diving into the New Year festivities. Together, let’s set intentions and embrace a fresh start with clarity and joy.
